The concrete floor you see above in Colorado garage has cove molding around all interior walls for a specific function. Not only does it look great, but it prevents water and dirt buildup along the edges.
The owner can hose down the surface and clean the floor without any worry. The cove molding is approximately 6 inches high and surfaced with our polyurea to the top edge. This creates a seamless basin. There is only one way for the water to go and that is out. Water cannot get under the wall. It makes the floor easy to clean.
