Choosing Color Chips for Your Colorado Garage Floor
When considering decorative color chips for your Colorado Garage Floor, there are 3 size options. The options going left to right above are as follows:
- 1/4 Quarter Inch – This is the size of the chip, not the depth of the coating
- 1/16th Inch
- 1/32nd inch
The most popular size is the 1/16th inch chip. The main reason is this size produces a natural granite decorative appearance. The size is large enough to get a nice color separation. In this sample the color combination is black, gray and white. This is the sample in the middle above.
The 1/4 quarter inch size, while still popular and the industry standard, doesn’t produce as natural a decorative result. The 1/4 inch chip is the sample on the left. While still an excellent result we find the most demand for the 1/16th inch size chip.
The 1/32nd inch chip size as shown in the photo to the right looks like a singular color with minimal color separation. The attraction is that this size gives the appearance of quartz without the added expense.
The most popular color for garage floors in Colorado is Saddle Tan followed by Tuxedo.
