Choosing Color For Your Colorado Concrete Floor Coating
The majority of our clients choose Saddle Tan for their concrete floor in Colorado. The most popular chip size is the 1/16th shown in the middle above.
Saddle Tan is an earth tone that shows very little dirt. The color is natural and blends in with with white, cream or brown shades which are typical in a garage, warehouse and many restaurants.
The 1/16th inch size resembles quartz. The 1/32 inch size provides a more monotone appearance. The chips are so small that there is minimal color separation, the result is a single color with less variation than the 1/16 inch chip.
The largest chip which is 1/4 inch really jumps out. The size of the chips makes the various colors vivid.
After Saddle Tan the most popular colors are gray or “Tuxedo” with gray, black and white chips. When we apply coatings the first coat is pigmented followed by application of chips with a thick, clear top coat.
